Nicola Thomas

South West Thames Institute for Renal Research, St Helier Hospital, Wrythe Lane, Carshalton, Surrey, SM5 1AA, UK, nicola.thomas{at}epsomsthelier.nhs.uk

The incidence of end-stage renal failure (ESRF) due to diabetic nephropathy is increasing. Key Words: diabetes • renal • microalbuminuria • prevention • patient education.
